Wang Shuzhen.

Professor Wang graduated from Anhui University with a bachelor's degree in economics in 1986 and from Zhongnan University of Finance and Economics in 1989 with a master's degree in economics. After graduation, she studied in Hong Kong and California, U.S. In July 1989, she began teaching economics in the Department of Economics of Zhongnan University of Finance and economics. She taughtMicroeconomics, Macroeconomics”,History of Economic Theories and other courses to students majoring in economics and won excellence in teaching awards in Zhongnan University of Finance and economics multiple times. In July 2001, she was transferred to the Department of Public Administrative of USTB to teach a number of professional base courses and core courses for students majoring in public management, such as “Principles of Economics”, "Government Economics", "Public Finance", "Research on Public Sector Economics", "Special Topic of Public management", etc. She is an advisor for master students in public management major. Her research field mainly involves the economic function of public sector under the condition of market economy, with a specialty in analyzing the government's behavior with the theory and method of economics. The research results are mostly published in professional core journals, have achieved a certain degree of academic influence, including two papers: "On Government Failure in the Housing Policy" and "A Tentative Study of the Effectiveness of Government Crisis Management ", which have 110 citations combined. Another publication "A Study on the Government's Failure in Taxi-hailing Apps Service Regulation" was published in Journal of Audit & Economics, with an IF of 7.94. Several undergraduate and master's theses under her guidance have won USTB’s outstanding graduation thesis award.
